Start at the Beginning

Do your homework before ever visiting a facility. Ask yourself these three basic questions first:

  • Is this somewhere where my loved one is going to be happy?

  • Can we afford it (most facility websites will give you a ballpark figure)?

  • Is it close enough that we can handle whatever issues may arise (and they will)?

When you visit a retirement community take our checklist with you. It contains over 100 questions that we’ve broken down into four basic parts:

  • Financial

  • Facility

  • Staff

  • Policies and Procedures

For less than 20 dollars we can offer you our comprehensive checklist that deals with all of these issues before you ever consider signing a contract.
